The shocks make it very comfortable

The shocks on the pathfinder make it very comfortable to exercise. It seems to reduce impact more than other ellipticals and at the same time is seems like I get a slightly better workout becuase of them. I like everything about it

I like everything about the Pathfinder. It's smooth, and very easy on the joints with the shock things. It's very quiet and sturdy unlike lower quality ellipticals that seem to wobble and shake. I haven't tried ifit live yet but when I do I'll give it a full 5 stars if it's good.

A very sturdy machine that provides a great workout. It's smooth and quiet, even at higher RPMs. The shocks are nice, but I feel they take a bit off the incline - i.e. max incline is 35 degrees, but the shocks make it feel more like 25 degrees. A great value

I've been using my pathfinder for the past 6 weeks and love it. I used the money I saved to pay for the in-home construction. It feels sturdy and solid. The incline and resistance are perfect. I would highly recommend this piece of equipment.

I really like the pathfinder! I can burn a lot more calories than on my stationary bicycle, really like the speakers and I can plug my MP3 player in and jam to my music. I have used other ellipticals at the gym, and the Pathfinder blows it out of the water. The moving arms a huge plus. After working out on the Pathfinder my legs were like jelly, the shocks definitely make your leg muscles work harder then a machine without them.
Great buy for the money.

The shocks on this thing make it so smooth. They do take a little out of the incline, but that's probably why they increased the incline to 35 degrees instead of 30 like other NordicTrack ellipticals. I am very happy with my purchase. Assembling took my husband 1,5 hour. There was just 1 problem during the whole process - 1 of the 2 bearings was too tight but he handled it somehow and pushed enough to move forward. I have osteoarthritis in one knee and this ellipitical does not aggravete the condition, It was very easy to put together compared to my weight machine.
